Pearl S. Buck Writers' Conference

April 9, 2010, Reception begins at 7:00 p.m.
April 10, 2010, Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.

Join me and local writing enthusiasts for a two-day Writers' Conference at Pearl S. Buck International. The Friday evening opening reception will feature a book signing and reading by Kimberly Thompson. Saturday morning and afternoon, we will offer writing workshops. The morning workshops will cover the topics of Developing Characters for Fiction, Writing Non-Fiction/Self-Help, Memoirs, and Newspaper Writing. Afternoon discussions will include Business Writing, Developeing Plot for Fiction, Journaling, and Writing for Children.

General admission: $5.00/$12.00 with house tour
Morning Workshop: $20 prepaid/$25 at the door
Afternoon Workshop: $20 prepaid/$25 at the door
Morning and Afternoon Package: $35 prepaid/$45 at the door
